Torchlight (available via Steam or from the Runic Games website) is a Diablo-esque dungeon crawl which runs nicely on a netbook - it even has a 'netbook mode' option in the settings menu. I've not played an action RPG for ages but Torchlight has really got me back into the genre - top netbook gaming.
If you are into PC gaming, chances are, you've heard of Minecraft. Minecraft is a sandbox building game developed by Mojang - it's like Lego for your computer. It runs on my HP Mini 210 netbook with 2GB RAM, albeit with the graphics set to 'fast' and a reduced render distance.
The Banana Republic City Building Sim from 2001 runs perfectly on my netbook. Available via Steam. Viva El Presidente! Viva netbook games!
